Day 1: Arrival in Rome

Arrive in Rome and enjoy your private airport transfer to Hotel Diocleziano. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your flight or begin exploring the Italian capital. Depending on your arrival time, you could take a stroll through the historic center, enjoy an authentic Italian dinner or visit one of Rome’s famous piazzas.

Day 2: Rome – At Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a full day to discover Rome at your own pace. Explore some of the city’s world-famous landmarks, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, or wander through the historic streets and atmospheric piazzas.

You could also visit Vatican City and admire St Peter’s Basilica, browse local boutiques or simply enjoy traditional Italian food and coffee in one of Rome’s many cafés and restaurants.

Day 3: Rome – Civitavecchia | Embark Legend of the Seas

After breakfast and check-out, enjoy your transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia, where you will board Legend of the Seas. Complete your embarkation and settle into your Interior Stateroom before the ship departs at 8:00 PM. As the ship sails from Italy, enjoy your first evening onboard and make the most of the ship’s dining, entertainment and leisure facilities.

Day 4: Naples (Capri), Italy

Arrive in Naples at 7:00 AM and enjoy a full day in port until the ship departs at 7:00 PM. Naples is one of Italy’s most characterful cities, known for its historic streets, lively atmosphere and famous culinary traditions. The port also provides access to some of the region’s most celebrated attractions. You may choose to explore Naples itself or use the opportunity to discover the nearby island of Capri, famed for its dramatic coastline, beautiful scenery and glamorous atmosphere.

Return to the ship ahead of its evening departure.

Day 5: Cruising | At Sea

Enjoy a relaxing day at sea as Legend of the Seas continues its journey across the Mediterranean. Take time to enjoy the ship’s facilities, relax by the pool, sample the onboard dining options or simply admire the changing views as you sail towards Spain.

Day 6: Barcelona, Spain

Arrive in Barcelona at 5:00 AM, with the ship remaining in port until 5:00 PM. Spend the day discovering one of Spain’s most vibrant cities. Explore the atmospheric Gothic Quarter, stroll along La Rambla or admire the distinctive architecture of Antoni Gaudí, including the spectacular Sagrada Família. Alternatively, enjoy Barcelona’s excellent food scene, browse its shops or relax along the waterfront before returning to the ship.

Day 7: Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Arrive in Palma de Mallorca at 8:00 AM and enjoy the day until departure at 4:00 PM. Explore the historic center of Palma, visit the magnificent Palma Cathedral or wander through the old town’s atmospheric streets and plazas.

You could also enjoy some time along the waterfront or discover Mallorca’s beautiful Mediterranean scenery before returning to the ship.

Day 8: Provence (Marseille), France

Arrive in Marseille at 9:00 AM, with the ship departing at 6:00 PM.

Discover France’s historic Mediterranean port, where a vibrant waterfront meets centuries of history and Provençal culture. Explore the Vieux-Port, wander through the historic Le Panier district or visit the impressive Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde for panoramic views across the city.

Marseille also provides an opportunity to experience the flavours of Provence, from fresh seafood to traditional Provençal cuisine.

Day 9: Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy

Arrive in La Spezia at 8:30 AM, remaining in port until 8:00 PM.

La Spezia is the gateway to some of Tuscany’s most famous destinations. You can choose to explore Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, and admire its magnificent architecture, historic squares and artistic heritage. Alternatively, visit Pisa to see the world-famous Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli.

Return to La Spezia in time for the ship’s evening departure.

Day 10: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy– Departure

Arrive back in Civitavecchia at 7:00 AM, marking the end of your 7-night Mediterranean cruise. Disembark the ship and enjoy your transfer to the airport for your return flight to London, bringing your Rome and Western Mediterranean adventure to an end.
